SUPP never cares about banning of "Allah" word in Sarawak

News from Sarawak Update: Wong King Wei, Special Assistant to Chong Chieng Jen urged the Home Ministry to write to the churches formally to inform them that they could use “allah” in their church magazine.Wong said Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi George Chan was wrong when he said the Allah word was never banned in Sarawak.Showing a letter of proof that besides the Catholic church, Methodist church received a letter from the Home Minister in November 26, 2008 banning them from using the word. The word was used in the Malay edition of the Methodist church.Wong said he was sad that the issue was politicised for the benefit of UMNO who wanted to win votes in West Malaysia thus the ban and allowing it to be used here as they wanted to win the votes here as there were more Christians here,Due to the issue, more than 10 churches and a mosque had been vandalised in the nation.
